Topics: The Journey Home
Look at the spiritual journey through the eyes of mythology, story and parables. The journey is a process that is described in many different ways, easy to see if you know what to look for and understand the universal language. This presentation explores some of these stories and reveals some of the keys to understand myth and allegory.
The Pilgrims Journey
This presentation is not so much about the journey, rather who is the one taking the journey, and the pathways that the journey takes us on. Here we together discuss the nature of who we really are and the power we have when we know.
What is The Theosophical Society?
The Theosophical Society in New Zealand is an organisation that encourages the exploration of the important questions in life, such as; who are we, why are we here, and what is our purpose? We do not claim to have all the answers to these questions, rather we endeavour to explore and come to our own understanding of them.
Their Vision
To promote and enable greater awareness of living wisdom expressed through Theosophy
Their Mission
To serve humanity by cultivating an ever deepening understanding and realisation of the Ageless Wisdom, spiritual self-transformation, and the Unity of all Life.
Their Ethic
The society holds that our every action, feeling and thought affects all other beings and that each of us is capable of, and responsible for, contributing to the benefit of the whole.
